Ruminations On Clay Tablets
INTRODUCTION
These entries are less teachings from the All Corvus, and more the ruminations of our ancient brothers and sisters recorded in clay. Insight and reflection are as they are, whether 10 to 15 million years ago.
Read on, to hear the voices of our ancestors, in your own tongue, in your own mind, as ruminations not much different from your own, unspoken thoughts.
#1
Light, despite our dependence on it to see with our eyes, is not the substance of this world. True substance is a space so vacant and lacking in direction, it is like falling in every direction to a great depth, only to be caught by disappearing.
#2
I don’t know if I’m alone, but I know that I am lonely. How I have come to be so pained, without taking any poison, I do not know. But when I look around my fellows and see their contentment with the busyness of their days, when I hear their laughter explode from nothing, I know that I have become alien to them.
Joy and communion, it seems, were not made for all of us.
#3
Take a breath
just a single
And enjoy the moment.

Life is a death sentence
Why are we are given this beautiful thing called life, just to have it taken away.
#5
Inovation is not what your have, but what your willing to do.
#6
Do right the things you can. There are many things in life we have no control over and thusly cannot do right. So take control of your life, and do right the things you can. Your life will bend with the winds of unconrrolable change, and will not break like the brittle branches.
#7
Light is the colour of creation, but darkness is its source.
#8
If the world arrived in front of me, it would have come too late. It is not worth finding out the lie, that everything I have ever wanted is the devil in disguise, again. It is better to live in the desert, with no expectations and no rewards.
Thusly I have come to be lonley. Because loneliness, real loneliness is in disliking ones own self.
#9
We are tomorrow, the corvus you are today. Unless we change ourselves today, tomorrow will always be today.
#10
If we want to count our winnings, we must stop looking at our losses.
#11
Forgiveness has nothing to do with who they are, and everything to do with who we are, and who we want to be.
#12
Ingenuity has nothing to do with what we have, but what we are willing to do.
#13
I don’t know if I am alone, but I know that I am lonely.
#14
If we want to count our winnings, we must stop clinging on to our losses.
#15
The purpose of an artist, is to inspire those with no inspiration.
#16
Why give us this beautiful thing called life, just to take it away…
#17
If there is a god who would forgive me for what ive done,
I would have no faith in it.
